Our product detail pages clearly state the overall dimensions of each bookshelf. We recommend reserving 5-10cm of space on both sides and above the bookshelf for ventilation and easy installation. For small apartments, we recommend compact models with a width of 60-80cm; for large living rooms or studies, you can choose extra-large models with a width of 120cm or more. Additionally, consider the height of the items you plan to store (such as tall books or decorative items) and check the adjustable layer height of the bookshelf, which can be found in the product specifications.
Q: What is the load-bearing capacity of the bookshelves, and can they hold heavy books? A: The load-bearing capacity varies by model and layer, and the specific data is clearly marked on each product detail page. Generally, our standard bookshelf layers can bear 15-25kg, which is sufficient for storing regular books, decorative items, or small household appliances. For heavy items (such as large encyclopedias or thick dictionaries), we recommend choosing bookshelves with thickened panels and reinforced metal connectors, and placing heavy items on the lower layers to ensure stability.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information (including but not limited to email address, password). You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities conducted under your account. You shall immediately notify the Store of any unauthorized use of your account or security breaches. The Store shall not be liable for any losses arising from your failure to properly safeguard your account information.
2. Assembly
Q: Is it difficult to assemble the bookshelf, and do I need professional tools? A: Our bookshelves are designed for easy assembly, and most models can be assembled by one person in 30-60 minutes. Each package comes with a detailed step-by-step instruction manual (with illustrations) and all necessary matching tools—no additional professional tools are required. We also provide online assembly tutorial videos, which you can find on the product detail page or the store's resource center. If you encounter difficulties during assembly, you can refer to the video or contact customer service for guidance.
Q: What should I do if parts are missing or damaged during assembly? A: Please first check the packaging and all parts carefully, as small parts (such as screws and connectors) are usually placed in sealed bags. If parts are indeed missing or damaged, please take photos of the missing/damaged parts and the order number, and contact customer service. We will verify the information and send the required parts for free within 1-3 business days. For damaged large panels, we can arrange a replacement or provide other appropriate solutions according to your needs.
3. Quality & Usage
Q: Are the bookshelf materials environmentally friendly and safe for home use? A: Yes, all our bookshelves use materials that meet international environmental protection standards, such as E0-grade particleboard and solid wood panels. These materials have low formaldehyde emissions and no harmful substances, ensuring safety for home use, including households with children and pets. We have passed relevant quality inspections, and the test reports can be provided upon request.
Q: How to maintain the bookshelf to extend its service life? A: To extend the service life of the bookshelf, please avoid placing it in humid environments (such as bathrooms or balconies exposed to rain) to prevent material deformation or mold. Clean the surface with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth; do not use harsh chemicals (such as bleach or abrasive cleaners) to avoid damaging the surface finish. Avoid overloading each layer beyond the specified load-bearing capacity, and place heavy items on the lower layers to maintain stability. For bookshelves with adjustable layers, avoid frequent disassembly and reassembly of the layer boards.
4. Order & After-Sales
Q: Can I cancel or modify my order after payment? A: You can request to cancel or modify the order (such as changing the shipping address or product model) within 24 hours of payment, provided that the order has not been processed. Please contact customer service immediately with your order number to submit the request. If the order has already been processed or shipped, we cannot cancel or modify it, and you can refer to our return and refund policy for subsequent handling.
Q: What is the return and exchange policy for bookshelves? A: You can apply for a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving the product, provided that the product is in its original condition (no scratches, no assembly traces, and all original packaging and parts are intact). Customized bookshelves are not eligible for return or exchange unless there are quality defects. For returns/exchanges due to product quality issues, we will bear the shipping costs; for returns due to personal reasons (such as incorrect size selection), the return shipping costs shall be borne by you. Q: Do you provide a warranty for the bookshelves? A: Yes, we provide a 12-month warranty for all our assembly bookshelves. During the warranty period, if the product has quality defects (such as panel deformation, connector failure, or structural instability) under normal use and maintenance, we will provide free repair, part replacement, or other appropriate solutions. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper assembly, overloading, accidental collision, or man-made damage.
